Every Monday, I get the chance to go into my son’s class and volunteer. I wasn’t sure how it was going to go. He does great in school when I am not there, and I wasn’t sure how it would be with me in the room. So far, we haven’t had any problems. He still pays attention and doesn’t seem to pay too much attention to me.

I’m glad there is a consistent schedule. Every Monday, I set the home security alarm, get everyone else off to the bus, and take him to school. I spend the first hour in the front office just working on random projects that are needed. Then, I head over to the classroom and work on reading groups. Each week, they are working on different letter sounds and there is always a book for me to read to them right before I leave. There is just something about being in there and being able to help. It also gives me something to talk to my son about. When I pick him up later, we can talk about the book and what he thought about reading for the day.

My cousin loves to collect coins. Since he graduated and earns money, he collected high prices Gold Coins and bullion coins. Playing golf with my family is a tradition on Sundays. Its something that all of us can enjoy together. In the morning, before we go to church, we load the car up with everyone’s clubs, so we can head right out after service. Even though we all aren’t on the same playing level, we all still have a good time. My husband is always spending all of his time trying to teach the younger kids, critiquing their form and swing, while I am competing with our older children.
